ACID FREE BASE

ACID FREE BASE is an elastic, transparent, and acid-free base, ideal for leveling nails.

SPECIAL FEATURES

APPLICATION

• remove old material

• do not trim nail shape too short or leave approx. 2 mm length

• lightly mattify nail surface with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer (without pressure)

• perform manicure

• wash hands with soap and water after using removers

• degrease nails with Nail Prep LUNAmoon (2 passes):

  • 1. pass: clean surface

  • 2. pass: thoroughly clean cuticle areas with an orange stick and wipe

• optionally apply Ultrabond LUNAmoon:

  • wipe the brush on a lint-free wipe beforehand

  • apply with a semi-dry brush

  • allow to sit for approx. 1 minute

• apply Acid Free Base LUNAmoon as a base with a flat gel brush using rubbing motions

• carefully work all areas and cure for 60 seconds

• remove inhibition layer

• perform leveling with Acid Free Base LUNAmoon and cure for 90 seconds

• file the shape after building (for a stable free edge)

Important:
If the natural nail is very thin, it may curl. In this case, approximately 1 mm of the natural nail should be filed away from the inside to prevent lifting.
With very soft nails and hard material, the natural nail can otherwise detach from the material at the free edge.

• remove the inhibition layer after filing

• apply a thin layer of gel polish or camouflage base

• seal with top coat and cure for 120 seconds

• do not wipe after curing to maintain shine
