RUBBER BASE

RUBBER BASE is a transparent, universal, and elastic base, ideal for leveling nails.

SPECIAL FEATURES

• Acidity: pH 3–4

• minimal shrinkage possible during wear due to elasticity

• may cause a slight warming sensation or burning on very thin or damaged nails (not on healthy nails)

• suitable as a base for all coating systems as well as for extensions with gel tips

• medium, self-leveling consistency

• recommended lamp power: 36–48 W (original device required)

• recommended thickness at the free nail edge: 0.5 mm

• Durability without lifting: 3–4 weeks

• easy to remove (filing or remover)

• suitable for self-leveling on short nails

• hypoallergenic and with a neutral scent

APPLICATION

• remove old material

• do not shorten the nail shape excessively or leave approx. 2 mm length

• gently mattify the nail surface with a 220 Grit file or a 100 Grit buffer (without pressure)

• perform manicure

• after using removers, wash hands with soap and water

• degrease nails with Nail Prep LUNAmoon (2 passes):

  • 1. pass: clean surface

  • 2. pass: thoroughly clean cuticle areas with a wooden stick and cloth

• apply Dehydrator

• optionally use Ultrabond LUNAmoon:

  • wipe the brush on a lint-free wipe beforehand

  • apply with a semi-dry brush

  • leave on for approx. 1 minute

• apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon as a base with a flat gel brush in rubbing motions

• carefully work all areas and cure for 60 seconds

• remove inhibition layer

• perform leveling with Rubber Base LUNAmoon and cure for 90 seconds

• file the shape after building (for a stable free edge)

• remove inhibition layer

• apply a thin layer of gel polish or camouflage base

• seal with Top Coat and cure for 120 seconds

• after curing, do not wipe to maintain shine
